Dear all,

In the recent year or two, there has been a bunch of recurring support issues which have been solved on the forums but not yet made their way into the Troubleshooting section on the homepage. Now my time is rarer than ever (I've just become a university professor which comes with an overwhelming lot of work), but you too can do a great service to your fellow Retrode users by helping me collect problems and their fixes from the forums in here. Just reply to this thread with a post like this:

QuoteProblem: N64 or GBA games don't play correctly.

Solution:
1. Check the voltage selector on the Retrode mainboard (underneath SNES slot). For N64 and GBA, it needs to be set to 3.3V (5V otherwise). [link to forum thread, manual]
2. Maybe the Retrode doesn't detect the right ROM size. Hit HWB button and refresh directory listing, or use config settings to force bigger sizes. [link to forum thread(s), link to config doc on Retrode homepage]

This will make it much easier for me to compile the solutions for the troubleshooting page, linking back to the forum threads where the issues are discussed in more detail. Please keep other types of discussion at a minimum in here.

Thank you!
Matthias
