Can somebody please assist me - how to make MD.EMU / SNES9x EX emulators to see the rom file that comes from the Retrode?
(without downloading roms from the web)

I am using iPad 2 + Camera connection kit + powered usb hub.

Managed to update the firmware to the latest (with iCade support), and made sure the connections are 100% correct - my ipad definitely sees the Retrode and iCade is working too. But ROMs still not showing there in emulators. :(

Anybody can help?

Do you see any indication that the iPad also recognizes the Retrode as a USB mass storage device, besides iCade?

The emulator would need to be aware that the files can be found on the USB mass storage device, and the iPad would need to allow the emulator to access them. I don't know what limitations the iPad imposes here.

Can you edit the Retrode's config file (RETRODE.CFG) using your iPad?

Are you using a jailbreak?

I know this topic is old, but I just thought I would suggest something. Instead of trying to download directly to the iPad from the retrode, just download it to your computer and email the roms to yourself. I have been able to play all my snes games on my ipad that way.

Another note, you can install emulators on non-jailbroken ios devices by going to iemulators.com. You can try messing around installing the free versions, or you can do what I did and just pay the $10 for a year of downloads.
