Title: Kirby's Tilt & Tumble Emulated on Android?
Post by: Zerker on 29/Mar/2013 08:30:39 PM
Hey folks. Is anyone aware of an Android emulator that has proper accelerometer support for Kirby's Tilt & Tumble? My adaptor just arrived, and it would be nice to be able to play this game more-or-less how it was intended without having to go back to an unlit original GBA for proper tilt orientation.

VGBA claims to have compatibility, but I do not have any accelerometer games to test it, so you will have to try it yourself.

Unfortunately, VGBA is a GBA emulator, and Kirby's Tilt 'n Tumble is a Gameboy Color game. I did give it a try for Warioware Twisted, but it seemed to have trouble keeping full frame rate, and the tilt control was really glitchy. The VGB emulator by the same developer (for GB/GBC) does not advertise any game accelerometer support.

Yeah, I'm aware of Visual Boy Advance's support, but the entire appeal of Kirby's Tilt 'n Tumble is the direct tactile tilting controls. I don't exactly have a gyroscope in my computer, and mapping it to a joystick doesn't quite feel the same.
