Title: OS X + SixtyForce: Retrode detected but can't setup controller

So I'm able to load the rom and the Retrode appears in the controller setup menus but I cannot map any of the controls to the controller. Anyone have similar experiences or a solution?

Using a retrode (gold edition)? I tried it with my PC running Project 64 on Windows 7, and no luck. I wouldn't be surprised if that could be it,  but there are other possibilities.

updated my firmware and now it doesn't even display in Finder

Please type the following command on the console and post the result:

system_profiler SPUSBDataType
