Hi All
Just received my retrode today upon connecting to my computer I have found the driver's are failing to install though, as suggested on the troubleshooting section I have removed the registry values, restarted the computer and then freshly connected the retrode however the same problem occurs. Anyone else come across this problem?
Machine build
intel core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40hz
8.00gb ram
Windows 7 home premium 64 bit.
Retrode is connected to a usb 3.0 on the motherboard however has been tested on usb 2.0 connections also on motherboard and also on front embedded hub on computer.

I have noticed that the hardware ID's differ from the one's mentioned on the troubleshooting guide however the may be for the retrode 1 and not the retrode 2.
Any suggestions on troubleshooting this would be greatly appreciated.
Just to clarify I have tried this on another machine (a laptop with a windows 7 32 bit build) and also tried different usb cables on each device. No difference in driver error.
Although we test for correct firmware flashing during production, yours may (for whatever reason) not have a proper firmware installed. Does the DFU/Jungo/AT90USB646 device show up as it should if you follow steps 1-5 in the firmware update instructions (http://www.retrode.org/documentation/firmware/)?
I have tried going through steps 1 to 5 unfortunately the device manager does not show correctly only an "unknown device" also when I release the reset button windows makes a USB failure noise and it is not detected as a new/different hardware.
Looks like a broken device. Please contact support at retrode dot org to arrange replacement.
