Title: Question About Making N64 Plugin
Post by: RazorX2014 on 28/Apr/2014 06:52:03 AM
hey guys i only recently got my hands on a retrode 1 and im loving it but ive started looking into getting plugins and bought a sms plugin but the others are sold out and i can't find anywhere that has them in stock (i live in the uk) so i got the sch and brd files from the site and have contacted a company who makes pcbs and they support brd files but are asking for board specifications i am guessing they mean size, thickness,  layers ect but i dont know any of those details could someone help me please i want to send them the n64 plugin schematic so they can send me a quote and perhaps the same for the other boards in the future so i need to know what details to send them.

i plan on putting the finished board in a case instead of leaving it exposed and in the future add the extra stuff to them like the gameboy slot could someone help me make this a reality please :D

That is likely not going to be feasible. For the price of one prototype board plus parts, you should get at least 3 or 4 pre-assembled N64 plug-ins from DragonBox (https://www.dragonbox.de/en/consoles-and-tools/134-retrode2-n64-plugin-.html).
