Title: C64 / Amiga / VCS2600 Joysticks
Post by: Matthias_H on 13/Feb/2012 07:13:46 PM
Hi,

I just recalled that C64, Amiga and Atari 2600 use pretty much the same pinout for their digital joysticks as the Sega devices, so they should in principle be supported by the Retrode 2. Anyone care to give it a try? (Analogue controllers (joysticks, paddles, etc) will definitely not work because the Retrode's input stage is purely digital.)

Cheers,
Matthias

C64/a2600 joysticks are the same electrically. Whenever I get my retrode 2 I will test n let you know. But iirc the joystick works same as the sega 3 button pad's "A" button

Uhm, looks as if your replacement unit has somehow fallen through the shipping sieve. :-/ Will see that it goes out with this week's shipment.
