I've read about the Retrode 2.

Am I correct in assuming that's the one currently available on the store?

Yeah, I dropped the "2" from the logo at some point. Actually, I think it made some things more confusing. (I had people writing in who were waiting for some ominous Retrode 3 with at least 10 cartridge slots, integrated Linux system, and HDMI out. Not happening, unless someone starts offering a modding service.)

The "black" Retrode is the latest model, and with continued firmware updates and a growing range of plug-ins it will last us for at least another 3-5 years.
