My Retrode, computer (Windows 7, 64 bit) whatever!, is refusing to take the firmware. >:( I am planning on getting a GameBoy adapter some day and I want to make sure it works.

What firmware does the Retrode have? v0.18c is strongly recommended for GB. What step are you stuck on in updating it?

no firmware. pushing the HWB and Reset button. My computer says "Unknown device" and it can't find the FLIP program.

Have you tried more than one computer?

I didn't try any other computers, but I think I figured it out. Just when I opened up the Retrode on my computer, I didn't see the firmware.

The firmware is a piece of program code, and hence invisible. How do you expect to SEE it?

I no longer sell the Retrode. For sales inquiries, please contact our friends at DragonBox.

Ok. So I'm good. I didn't know if the firmware was supposed to come up or not.  :o By next week, I am going to purchase a Game Boy Adapter.

You can see which firmware version you have though in the config file.
